INFECTION PREVENTION & CONTROL COORDINATOR
Benalla, Victoria
Summary of the role
The Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all services by Benalla Health meet best practice standards to prevent the spread of infection thereby ensuring that the risk of patients, residents’, clients and staff acquiring infection is minimised.
*Grade 5
*Part-time (20 hours per week)Applicants will need to:
* Hold current nursing registration with AHPRA, preferably with substantial post basic experience in nursing
* Have previous management experience
* Hold relevant post-graduate qualifications in infection control or prepared to work towards and obtain same
* Demonstrated well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge and commitment to Quality Management and Accreditation processesBenalla Health offers its employees:
