Suzanne Alexander OBO Joanna HarrisGood afternoon,
The Infection Management and Control Service (IMACS) team in the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) is offering an Infection Prevention and Control CNC secondment until February 2024. ISLHD offers fantastic career opportunities in a beautiful, relaxed location nestled between the mountains and the sea on the south coast of NSW.
https://jobs.health.nsw.gov.au/jobs/clinical-nurse-consultant-infection-prevention-and-control-175073This role will be based at Shellharbour Hospital. As part of the SIHG IMACS team you will provide leadership and expertise to staff, ensuring the delivery of a patient-centred Infection Prevention and Control service to the Shellharbour and Port Kembla Hospitals and the ISLHD Mental Health Service. The successful applicant will be well supported by the dynamic and collaborative IMACS team.
IMACS was established in 2008 to consolidate infection prevention and control expertise across the District into one team. The service is established as a key component of the Clinical Governance Unit. IMACS core mission is simple: Healthcare associated infection must not be considered a normal part of contemporary healthcare.
