You don’t often get email from 00000062732076ff-dmarc-request@aicalist.org.au. Learn why this is important

    Hi everyone,

Over the past 18 months, myself and colleagues have published a podcast on all things infection control. It is called Infection Control Matters. Most Wednesdays, we publish a new episode. In the podcast, we talk about new research papers and or topical issues. We very often have guests. Our guest list so far is long, but has included Lidia Morawska, David Weber, Didier Pittet, Stephanie Dancer, Jon Otter as well many leaders and clinicians from Australia. This year, we have had the opportunity to interview invited and seminal presenters directly from conferences in the US (SHEA), ECMMID (Europe) and ICPIC (Europe).

The podcast is free, no sponsored and has no ads. They usually range from between 10 to 25 minutes in length.

You can listen to this podcast through the podcast website, or via your preferred podcast provider Apple, Spotify, Google etc. Just search Infection Control Matters. It is now also available on YouTube (audio). We have been overwhelmed with the uptake and response. We have 35,000+ listens from over 100 countries. Thank you very much to the many people who have contacted us with positive feedback and ideas.

You can also keep up to date about the podcast and new episodes via Twitter (@1healthau or @emrsa15 or @PLR_aus )

We have some exciting things planned in the coming months, including updates and discussions from presenters from the IPS conference in the UK, similarly for the ACIPC conference as well as other very interesting topics and speakers.

I thought I would email this list, just in case you are interested in listening.
