Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia required
We are seeking an experienced Infection Control Co-ordinator who will be able to monitor and evaluate Infection Control procedures, practices and standards across our hospital.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

Qualifications in Infection Control and Sterilisation (or evidence of working towards this achievement)
Knowledge of relevant Australian standards in Infection Control and sterilisation
Sound understanding of the functions and processes of the Central Sterilising Services Department (CSSD)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multidisciniplary teams
Provide support, education and training to staff on infection control issues
Auditing skills
Ability to collate reports and interpret statistical information
Understanding of National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS) accreditation requirements
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
