Youth Justice Infection Control Consultant (Parkville/Malmsbury),
Department of Justice and Community Safety
The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking
an infection control consultant to work onsite at its youth justice
facilities for up to six months.APPLY NOW
You will work at the Parkville Youth Justice Precinct and/or the Malmsbury
Youth Justice Precinct.The hours of work can be negotiated but would involve being on-site for up
to seven days a week. Hours might range from three to 12 hours per day. The
role could also be shared between two or more consultants, so if part-time
or weekend work is preferable, please still apply.As an expert in infection control, you will provide the following services:
*Support infection control procedures at the department’s youth
justice facilities, including a unit in Parkville dedicated to young people
who are COVID-19 positive.
*Promote your understanding of best practice PPE use to help to
reduce the spread of COVID-19 within these facilities.
*Review existing policies and procedures and offer improvements.
*Manage occupational exposure.
*Provide training and education advice.Your ability to work in a dynamic environment is essential and any formal
