Hi team
Has anyone set up an indoor COVID-19 testing clinic able to let me know our experiences? Weather prevents an outdoor clinic during summer in our jurisdiction.

Hi Cate
We have some experience in this area.
Some key points that may assist:* If space persists consider setting up completely separate symptomatic & surveillance testing sub-units to the clinic with separate waiting areas, ingress, registration & exits.
* Try & keep waiting queues outdoors
* Have good spacing between registration clerks so clients are not too close when registering
* Provide adequate barrier screens for clerical staff
* Testing rooms should be enclosed to minimise aerosol spread
* Have a tea room either well away from the clinic, or preferably at a separate site. Any tea room should be used for storing/heating up food only & eating to be done offsite. We have set up an outside marque for this.
* Consider providing a strategically located hydration station far enough away from testing areas but also accessible to staff with an associated PPE station i.e. once N95 comes off for drink, there is HH & new masks adjacent.
* Consider using security to assist with waiting queues
I hope some of this helps.
Happy for you to call me as well.
Cheers
