Human Metapneumovirus infections

For those adult hospitals whose labs do testing for Human
Metapneumovirus (HMNV) as part of detection of respiratory infections,
do you routinely use droplet precautions for confirmed HMNV symptomatic
infections in adult patients? I realise that there are strong
recommendations to use droplet precautions for this infection in
paediatric and Immunosuppressed (eg stem cell transplant) patient
settings, but I wonder how many facilities would use droplet precautions
in general adult medical wards for this infection?

Any comments on this appreciated.
