Hi Brains Trust,
Our hospital is using a “Thermalator” heat pack system, where heat packs are submerged and live in hot (74 degrees C) water, removed & placed in a plastic bag, then wrapped in a towel for patient use. After use they are returned to the hot water & in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, scrubbed with detergent monthly.
Do you have any experience or thoughts on this type of system?
Information on what you’re using or best practice would be greatly appreciated.
With thanks,
Susan
