Early in 2014, Healthcare Infection is planning on publishing a themed edition on urinary tract infections. We are interested in receiving original research, reviews, case reports or letters to the editor on this topic or variations thereof.

    We are particularly interested in:
    – Urinary tract infection and aged care
    – Urinary tract infections surveillance
    – Original research
    – Urinary tract infections and gram resistance
    – The economics of urinary tract infections interventions/surveillance

I would strongly encourage you to consider and start preparing submissions if you are or have recently undertaken work in this field.

Papers for this edition should be submitted by September this year.

The journal is going from strength to strength and I encourage you to be part of this. If you have any question, please do contact me individually.

    Regards

    Brett
    Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare Infection
