    Hi All,
I just had this article forwarded to me by a colleague. I was tempted to just ignore it but I think it actually says a lot about how we get our messages across (or not!) to those without the benefit of the intimate subject knowledge we have. I would expect a Federal Court Judge to be somewhat able to understand literature, probably more so than the general public, so find it hard to reconcile this decision. I strongly suspect that there is a lot going on that we don’t know about in this case but it is easy to see how information can be misconstrued and employed in ways we wouldn’t expect. Anyway it serves as something to ponder when you are thinking about risk communication and audiences!
