    Hi all,
Wondering if anybody has a policy or know of what practices occur in the operating room environment for the wearing of head covering for religious reasons.

The 2012-2013 ACORN Standard 11 4.3 states “have personal head covers laundered by the HCF, or an approved commercial laundry”. Is this practice enforced?

    Thanks,

Linda Henderson (RN, GCNS Inf Ctrl, CICP)
