Hi everyone
Wondering if anyone would share your HH compliance poster you place in the public areas of your hospital?Currently we use the work unit based posters from HHA for work units and an overall compliance poster for public area on the ground floor. Prior to accreditation we used the HHA wheel , however during accreditation we were required to change the poster as the assessor suggested that the general public would not understand what the HH wheel and percentage rate meant. She wanted it changed immediately and stated the current poster was much more suitable.
However, our Clinical Governance Committee recently requested the current poster be updated to include the wheel.
Could anyone share your poster to assist us to develop new one ?

Hi
We asked our consumer representatives on our infection prevention and
control committee at the last hospital I worked. They provided advice on the
location of the poster and what it should look like. We changed the location
of the posters and the content. Our posters were a graph of annual averages. They were updated every audit
period. The graph showed the improvement in the clinical area since 2009. It
was a simple annual graph but we had a lot of interaction from the public.
They could see considerable improvement over time. We located the public HH
rubs near the posters.Thank you
Joe
