An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and enthusiastic nurse for the role of Infection Control Clinical Nurse Consultant (Grade 5) at Eastern Health. Eastern Health is the largest public health provider in the eastern suburbs, providing a comprehensive range of high quality acute, sub-acute, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care and community health services.

As a key role reporting to the Eastern Health Infection Control Coordinator, this position has overall responsibility for the management of the Infection Control Services at Box Hill Hospital. The position involves leading a small team in the coordination of patient care services whilst being cognisant of environmental factors that relate to infection control practices and procedures within the facilities and Eastern Health as a whole.

To be successful in the role you will have:
* extensive experience in the field of Infection Control and Prevention
* post graduate qualification relevant to the position or enrolled in appropriate course at time of employment
* demonstrated competence in a leadership role
* strong organisational and prioritisation skills
* competency in building strong internal and external relationships with individuals at all levels
* the desire to work across a large diverse organisation in a supportive and stimulating environment
