Subject: FYI: National Immunisation Education Framework for Health Professionals

    Dear CoNNO,

The Office of the Chief Nurse and Midwifery Officer has advised us that the Department of Health, on behalf of the Immunisation Provider Competency Working Group, is undertaking a public consultation on the National Immunisation Education Framework for Health Professionals (The Framework). The consultation period opened on 18 December 2015 and will close at midnight on Friday, 22 January 2016.

The draft Framework sets out the standards for practice, training and assessment for immunisation providers.

The draft Framework is available from The Department of Health Consultation Hub page at https://consultations.health.gov.au/, and is also attached for your convenience.

Submissions can be made by an online survey located through the weblink.

    Regards

    Anastasia
