I would also be interested in learning if ACIPC is intending to make a collective submission on behalf of members.

The following news is from the Royal Commission:

News from the Royal Commission
Interested members of the public and institutions are invited to make submissions to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety via the Commission’s website.
The Commission’s website contains guidance on how to make a submission.
A 1800 number is also available for people who may not want to make a written submission, but who have information about their experience or knowledge of aged care that they wish to share with the Commission.
The Commission can also accept submissions by mail.
The Commission will accept submissions until at least the middle of 2019. A date for the closing of submissions will be announced in the second half of next year.
The Royal Commission will hold its preliminary hearing in Adelaide at 10am on Friday, 18 January with hearings commencing in February in Adelaide.

* by talking to someone on our information helpline: 1800 960 711
Background information on the websiteFor the benefit of those who want to make a submission there is a wealth of reports, statistical data and evaluations of programs relating to aged care available on the Commission’s website.
The Commission’s Terms of Reference are also available to view on the website.
