Subject: [ozbug] nCoV – Communique from CMOSeems things are moving along fairly quickly, and I’m sure everyone is hearing about suspected cases and the worried well.
The attached information will be sent to GPs, EDs and other primary care centres.
The link in the fact sheet doesn’t seem to work, but I presume it is pointing here
https://www.health.gov.au/health-topics/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncovThere are several resources at this site, including Chinese language information sheets and a national guideline (SoNG). Several jurisdictions have their own fact sheets and guidelines as well.
Note that the fact sheets still list Wuhan city in the criteria for testing, but given the reports, I suspect this should be Hubei province (including Wuhan) and may well expand further in the next few days.
SmartTraveller now recommends people not to travel to Hubei province
