    Wednesday 20 September 2017, 13:00pm – 14:00pm BST

Speaker: Dr Elaine Cloutman-Green, Principal Clinical Scientist, Great Ormond Street Hospital

Chair: Elise Maynard, Managing Partner, Elise Maynard & Associates LLP

When entering healthcare many of the patients, visitors and even staff think that the sink is the cleanest area in a bed space, after all it is used to make hands clean. Despite this most cleaners, estates staff and Infection Prevention and Control teams know that this is not the case, and keeping items such as showers and sinks clean may not be a straightforward exercise.

In this free webinar we will discuss the evidence for considering sinks and other water sources within healthcare as potential sources of transmission as well as the challenges of managing them to reduce risk.

Only those who are registered will be able to view the webinar.
