    Hi Everyone

I am requesting assistance for information regarding the cleaning of baby feeding bottles and breast expressing equipment.
The process of cleaning and sterilising changes from NICU, SCN and post natal at the Canberra Hospital.
Disposable feeding bottles were being used however some areas feel that the cost and storage is a barrier.
On the post natal ward the mothers are cleaning their used bottles and then sterilising them in the ‘brand’ microwave bags.
There seems to be very little research on this issue.
I would appreciate some info on how other hospitals deal with this equipment, and policies if you are willing to share

    Thank you

    Heather
