P Please consider the environment before printing this emailDear Colleagues
‘I am interested to know how many hospitals are using 2% chlorhexadine washcloths on patients, and in what context.
If you are using the 2% chlorhex washcloths how long have you used them for and has their use made an impact on the infection rate?
Has there been any opposition to their introduction and if allergic reactions to chlorhex has been a problem?
The literature seems divided as to the effect 2% chlorhexadine has on povidine-iodine used in theatres and I would like to know if any other hospitals have met opposition from theatres about the introduction of the washcloths.Regards
Heather
