floor cleaning

Dear Brains trust,

Just wondering if the brains trust can advise on what should be used for daily floor cleaning for MRO rooms, pathology labs, sterile processing departments? We have been having a discussion today whether detergent/disinfection should be used or that a detergent only is sufficient?
