Hello everyone,
Our service has been asked to advise on a draft procedure for faecal microbiota transplants as indicated for recurrent or refractive C. difficile infection.
I would be very interested in knowing whether any of you have already considered this and have a procedure in place that we could use and reference please, which covers;1. recipient eligibility assessment and criteria,
2. donor screening,
3. preparation of the donated faeces,
4. the storage, management and administration of the faecal suspension.
Thanks in anticipation….
Joanna Harris
