Hello all
I have now had a number of questions about the collection of equipment, (expired sterile gloves, single use equipment, e.g. scissors etc.) being donated to overseas hospitals.
I realise in Australia that the TGA says single use is just that and am wondering what other jurisdictions do in this situation. It seems to be quite widespread and an honourable thing to do but is there an ethico-legal aspect to this? What do others think, where can I find information to provide to my staff around this issue?
