    Hi everyone

This is a friendly reminder that your subscription to Infexion Connexion is tied to your subscribed email address. If your email address changes, you will no longer receive emails. This is important to recognise when your work email domain changes, as you need to then have this changed on the list software. It is my understanding NSW Health is currently rolling out some changes in email domains, and subscribers from within NSW Health will need to be aware of any changes to their email domain (the email domain is the part to the right of the ‘@’ sign in an email).

To change your email address on the list you have several options:

    1. You can update your email address via email instruction by sending an email to ‘listserv@aicalist.org.au’ with the command ‘CHANGE aicalist [new email address]’ in the body of the message. This MUST be sent from the old email address, so may not work if your email address has already changed and you no longer have the ability to send emails from the old address.

    2. If you have logged into the web archive, you can change your email address for AICALISAT by clicking on the ‘settings’ button next to the list name under ‘Subscriber’s Corner’. This will change your email address for the emails for the list, but does not change the email address you use to log into the web archive.

    3. You can send a request to ‘aiclist-requests@aicalist.org.au’ to change your email address.

For College members, don’t forget to update your new email address with the College as well if necessary.

When a large group of email addresses change, sometimes subscribers can be inadvertently deleted from the list by the software if there are continual messages to the software stating that user does not exist. If you are aware of colleagues who seem to no longer be getting emails from the list where there could have been a change in their email domain, please get them to contact me to check their subscription.

    Thanks
