Hi All,

Have had a question from the theatres educator pertaining to disposal of surgically removed human tissue & explanted items ( ACORN -14th edition)
See attached documentation

The questions asked are

* Is there an existing policy that addresses this? What does maternity do for placentas?

* Could we have a generalist list of what we should do for different religions should someone ask for a body part?

* Standardised consent process for human tissue & explanted items?

Any input would be greatly appreciated
