    Dear All,

As US had some hiccups for the collection and disposal of clinical waste contaminated with Ebola, hence we are reviewing our clinical waste collection, transportation and disposal plan, and to fix potential loopholes as soon as possible, if identified. And our findings reveal to disposal clinical waste with larger size (larger than clinical waste bag) would cause problems.

With reference to US practices https://www.youtube.com/watch?v_0yWNcpWbU8, they pack the mattress with plastic sheet and to discard it.

I would like to know your prevailing practices for how to disposal special items for example mattress, fabric sofa (with vomitus) contaminated with Ebola, whether we need to pour some bleach solution, or we just to follow the US practices (contain/wrap the items with plastic sheet).

    Yours sincerely,

    Sony SO
