Dear All,
I would like to know how to classify used peak flow meter (PFM) to which type of device i.e. semi-critical or non-critical in accordance with Spaulding’s classification.
At present, different models of PFMs are using in my hospital, With reference to respective models’ instruction of use, some manufacturers recommend to disinfect the used PFMs with high level disinfectants, however some only require to clean the used PFMs with detergent and/or low level disinfectants.
Yours sincerely,
