NSWJust a friendly reminder that ALL messages to the discussion list must include the full name, professional designation, and place of work (or company affiliation) of the sender. And adding an email signature image will not always work, because the list server will strip most attachments except PDFS, so it may be necessary to type these details in.
If there is no appropriate identifying information in the body of the email it will not be posted, and a message will be sent to remind the sender this information must be provided, and to resend the message with the information included.
As a moderator, I have not always ensured this rule has been adhered to, but it is important that all members can readily identify the context of a message, included the clinical and geographical location the question is based in. The main reasons messages to the list will be delayed will be the non-adherence to this rule. It is not only new members that forget to add their details, and some of this might be due to using personal emails for the list rather than corporate email addresses. It pays to check before you press ‘send’ that you have included what is required.

05/07/2022 at 12:45 pm #79498Good afternoon All,
I am CNC infection Control for South WestHospital and Health Service and would like to ask about expiry dates on blood and body spill kits. Does your work place have expiry dates on the kits? If they do, is it for the whole kit or just certain items within it that need replacing? Which items need replacing e.g gloves, absorbent pads?
Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Kind regards,
Caroline Dent
