    HI everyone,
Can you tell me if anyone still uses Dental Needles in clinical areas (other than dental) and or Operating theatre. These are very high risk for Needle stick Injuries as needle is difficult to remove safely. Is there anything that has superseded these?
    thanks

    Hi Cate,

Dental syringes are often used to administer local anaesthetic in
    dermatology clinics and consulting rooms.

I am concerned about the safety of these too, given that they require
manipulation of a used sharp and the neck of the LA syringe is difficult to
    clean.

There are disposable options out there.

I’ll send you an email with the name of the product that I am familiar with.

    Kind Regards
