Dear Colleagues,
I would like some direction on where to find guidance on the requirements
of deep cleaning for a facility following the identification of a positive
COVID-19 case (staff member).
I would also like to understand within such guidelines the theory behind
the use of fogging systems. These fogging systems usually contain hydrogen
peroxide which can cause damage to the plastic on sensitive Medical Imaging
equipment such as Mammography units. I would like to understand if fogging
is a requirement and if it is, what would be considered an alternative
process/procedure if fogging was not appropriate within a specialised
clinical environment.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Kind regards
