1.Do you have day cancer services day treatment (chemo & Radiation centres) yes or No
If no thanks very much, if yes 4 more questions please2. Do you have standard alone screening stations outside your cancer services day treatment (chemo & Radiation centres) Yes or No
If no thanks very much if yes 3 more questions please2. Do your cancer services screening stations take everyone entering the building temperature with a thermometer Yes or No
3.If yes what type of thermometer are you using (i.e. tympanic, oral etc)
4 If no how are they screening patients and visitors ?

(We have two wonderful oral physicians who do assessments for all the various oral cancers, then the patients disappear into the other hospitals, and some return after extensive maxillo-facial surgery to have their face prostheses made & fitted by our wonder Max-Facial dentist).The COVID Risk assessment and management for dental aerosol generating procedures is progressing really well!
And it was raised at State Oral Health Executive this week, and at CEC – and, after our emails last week (it was this time last Friday!) Kathy is raising with the AHxxx)(that top national group).

Yes, we have a dedicated day oncology treatment centre within our facility.
No, all entering are asked questions at the reception desk and taken straight through (not left in waiting room) if any risk.
No, not temp screened before entry to the unit.

Tympanic
4 If no how are they screening patients and visitors ?
No visitors allowed.Linda we have university students manning the entry door to oncology.
They inform patients to wash their hands on entry and exit to the hospital.
Take temperatures if temperature is above 37 the student contact NUM who comes down ad se the patients ad contacts their Doctor.
No visitors allowed only patients in this area.
