Please note that the COVID-19 CDNA National Guidelines for Public Health Units v3.1 has just been published: https://www1.health.gov.au/internet/main/publishing.nsf/Content/cdna-song-novel-coronavirus.htm
The main endorsed changes in this iteration include:
– Revised release from isolation criteria (pgs 1719).
o Cases no longer need to meet a higher standard or undergo additional assessment before going into any high-risk settings.
o Additional advice for cases who are significantly immunocompromised.
– Addition of subsection on PCR positive tests in asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic persons (pg 15).
– Minor changes to Laboratory testing section.
– Minor changes to Contact management section.
For details of all changes, see the revised document. Changes from the last version have been highlighted.
