Open public consultation on the draft version 2 of the NSQHS Standards is now open and feedback can be provided until 30 October 2015.
The Commission wants to hear from anyone involved in health care during this consultation period, including consumers, health professionals, health service managers, health departments, technical experts and accrediting agencies.Your feedback will help ensure that version 2 of the NSQHS Standards addresses the major safety and quality issues in health care, that they are easy to understand, and that they are applicable to you and your work.
You have two options:
1. To provide feedback via your own personal organisation
2. Provide feedback to the college Policy Committee who will collate a combined membership response
The consultation draft version 2 of the NSQHS Standards can be accessed here (PDF 559KB) (Word 339KB
Feedback to be included in ACIPC Policy Committee response will need to be received by COB Friday 17th October to allow the Policy Committee time to collate and submit an electronic response. As all members were involved in some capacity within the establishment of these standards as part of AICA and now ACIPC, it is important that we provide feedback on draft version 2 of the NSQHS Standards.
