Congratulations to Dr Philip Russo, ACIPC President-elect on being awarded a highly competitive NHMRC Public Health “Early Career Fellowship” titled “Improved Detection of Infections Following Surgery for Meaningful Public Reporting”. Phil’s work will no doubt make great improvements for Australian infection control practitioners and on behalf of ACIPC’s Life Members I would like to offer him sincere congratulations. After several decades in the field it’s great to see Phil’s enthusiasm and commitment is unwavering. Well done Phil.
