Hi IP Colleagues,
I attended the ACIPC conference this week and wanted to let all my colleagues know it was a great conference.
All plenary speakers were informative and provided very interesting presentations. The breakout sessions provided diversity and something applicable to all sectors which was a bonus. The poster session was also well put together, my only critique is Aged Care was not well represented but that is on us to change that.
I have attended many conferences where there were large gaps in shared knowledge but did not find that an issue at this conference.
The only downside – we had to do it online and even then, the work that went into switching the forum from live to on-line was impressive.
I would highly recommend for those who have not attended a conference to sign up for this next year – learning from others is the best way we can improve. Thanks to the College for a wonderful experience. Looking forward to the next!
Sarah
