Compostable hospital products

Dear Brains trust,

We are reviewing some of our products and looking at considering compostable alternatives.

Is anyone utilising a compostable waste stream and if so, how do you manage the contamination of these products? How contaminated do they have to be before they are put into general or clinical waste?
