    Hello Brains Trust,

I am wondering if anyone can provide advice on cleaning large statement pieces and decorative items in foyers and large communal areas in Residential Aged Care homes.

We have removed smaller items that cannot be cleaned easily such as magazines, paper items, wicker, baskets, blankets, doilies, table cloths, unsealed wood items, etc. We have processes in place to facilitate the residents have access to books, dvds, etc.

In many of our facilities, in particular the newer RCAs, large plastic plants and statement pieces were purchased pre-Covid.

I would like to strike a balance between a safe clinical environment and a homelike environment and am interested in peoples thoughts and solutions you may have come up with.

    Kind regards,
