Cardiac Catheter laboratory guidelines

Hi Everyone on AICA list,
Can you advise how your cardiac catheter laboratories are managed, specifically regarding their classification ie. are they considered theatre or procedure rooms? And by which guidelines/standards are they managed in this regard?
