Hi all,
We are currently looking at establishing a permanent role within our IPC service focussed on supporting all building, maintenance and redevelopment activities. The inputs from design to supporting appropriate IC management of internal and external building works, through investigative works to full or partial redevelopment of clinical spaces, is not something that we can easily support of the side of our desks. WE have had a temporarily funded role for some time, but as we move to looking to permanently creates a role we are interested in how other service manage these risks?
Can I please ask other members, especially those in larger or tertiary facilities
* How do you currently manage all your building works including maintenance, general building and redevelopment?
* Do you have dedicated role/s?
* If so, do you have a specific or separate SoD for these staff?Replies at your earliest opportunity would be welcomed! If you have a SoD that you would be willing or able to share, that would be valued too.
Kind regards
Rachel……………………………………………………………………………..
