HI Phillipa,
In 2012 I made up my own Blood Culture kits and these were rolled out to all adult wards (Paediatric had different requirements) in the hospital. The aim was to reduce contamination which has been achieved and the results of the study were presented at the AICA conference in Adelaide.
The kits include a 3 pack of alcohol/chlorhexidine swabsticks plus the bottles. I would be happy to discuss offline.Kind regards

Hi Michelle
Thankyou for your response.
I think I am familiar with your presentation and achievements in this area. Well done!
I was hoping to find a reasonably priced pre made kit excluding bottles to run a trial if possible.
Similarly, I shall have to make up my own I think.I shall calling you again tomorrow.
Kind regards
Phillipa Parsons
