Hi, I know this is not related to infection control.

My Don is asking me to benchmark practices with other hospitals on how they manage to transfer of patients and beds

I was wondering if anyone could tell me there policy on moving patients in beds around the hospital.

    * Do you have a transfer system
    * policy that 2 staff members must push the bed and patient
    * or can 1 staff member push patient and bed
    * if bed is empty how many people can push the bed

Could you please email me directly.
    I appreciate all help.
    Thanks
    Helen
