Hi Team,

Your advice please.

Does your area developed audit/assessment tool for ultrasound probes reprocessing based on the AS/NZS 4187 standard. As per the ASUM guidelines, High Level disinfection is recommended for reprocessing ultrasound probes if they contact with non-intact skin/body fluid or used on the ultrasound guided invasive procedure.

Can I use attached assessment tool for ICU and ED for ultrasound reprocessing. Do you have any tool that I can use to assess the compliance level. Is this guideline applicable for all area that use ultrasound probes or just for ICU.
