Hello All,
I had been asked to review a Child and Family Audiometry Testing Clinic, to see if they could stay open only for priority clients.
Due to the nature of audiometry testing there is a small sound booth, covered with paper stickers, and carpet on the floor of the booth, in a small booth no bigger than meter x metre. ( or maybe slightly bigger, but still very small totally enclosed area.).
Children and carers are not screened, and there is a small chance of them waiting out in a common waiting area.
The facility had planned to extend the times in between clients to allow for no patient cross-over.
My question is: with paper stickers and carpet that are unable to be cleaned sufficiently with approved wipes, and with COVID-19 restrictions to clinics etc., would the recommendation be to close this clinic until further notice?
Has anyone else had issues relating to this?
Thank you
