Hi all,
Can anyone please advise?AS per the Amendment 2.2019 to AS /NZS 4187 we are trying to ascertain exactly what “heavy metals excluding iron, cadmium and lead ” need to be tested in the water feed to a dedicated steam generator .
You help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards

Hi Everyone,
Arsenic, beryllium, chromium, manganese, mercury, nickel, and selenium are heavy metals of concern as they are toxic to humans.
Most environmental laboratories should offer heavy metal test panels on your boiler feed water or condensate sample and provide a report that meets your requirements if you specify that iron, cadmium and lead need to be reported separately to the other heavy metals.
