Dear college members. For your information.

APNA launches Transition to PracticeAre you a registered nurse who’s just started working in aged care, general practice, community or other area of primary health care? Are you an experienced nurse who wants the chance to mentor?
APNA’s Transition to Practice program is launching in April 2016. Transition to Practice will deliver a structured 12 month transition program, with the aim of increasing the confidence, competency, skill and knowledge of registered nurses commencing work in primary health care settings.
Whether you are a graduate new to the workforce, or an experienced nurse coming from a hospital or other acute setting, this is for you.
Expressions of interest are now open for: workplaces, nurses, preceptors and mentors.
Visit http://www.apna.asn.au/transitiontopractice for more information.
