    Hi to all,
Our infection control team and pharmacy staff are thinking about how we can comply with the clinical care standard for antimicrobial stewardship by auditing the review of broad spectrum antibiotics and the change to narrow-spectrum antibiotics, where appropriate, following pathology results becoming available. Does anyone out there have a cheat sheet or flow chart that describes the flow of antibiotics from broad to narrow for gram positive and gram negative microbes, or something along these lines?
I am hoping that someone else has done this work and is willing to share and be acknowledged, so we do not have to re-invent the wheel.

    Regards
    Kathy
