WaikatoDear colleagues,
The Ebola presentations at ACIPC Adelaide stirred me. Last week I accepted
a CDC/WHO invitation to work in Sierra Leone for 2 months to assist with
the Ebola crisis, effective Feb 25th. The humanitarian task is close to my
heart and I consider it a privilege to be asked and serve. I am part of a
10 member cohort who will Train the Trainers in infection control and
safety procedures – so no patient care, and thankfully the risk is
negligible and nowhere near that faced by our brave ACIPC members who serve
in patient-care roles.I will continue to receive emails and try answer on a nightly basis. I will
have a separate mobile whilst there and will endeavour to place updates on
my website http://terrygrimmond.com.Best regards, Terry Grimmond
