Revision of the Nurses in General Practice (NiGP) Competency Standards National Survey Round 2

Are you a nurse working in, or involved with, the general practice setting? We want to hear from you about the work that has been undertaken to revise the practice standards for Nurses in General Practice.

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF), in conjunction with research partners, the University of Wollongong, are reviewing the 2005 national ANF Competency Standards for nurses in general practice. This project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health.
We have undertaken extensive consultations via nationwide focus groups and an initial survey to develop draft revised standards. Now we are asking you to provide feedback on the current draft standards before we move into the final phase of the project.
The on-line survey is open from Tuesday 29 July 2014 until Friday 15 August 2014.
