The Alfred Health Infection Prevention Study Day will be held on Thursday the 12th of October from 8.30am – 4.15pm at The Alfred (Melbourne).

There will be a range of presentations on infection prevention issues from experts in the field, including:

* Microbiology and specimen collection
* Infections in burns, paediatric and pregnant patients
* Legal aspects of infection prevention
* Food safety and outbreak management
* Scabies
* Surgical site and urinary tract infections
* CPE
