Good afternoon ACIPCLIST members,
I have read the archives about air purifiers, however I cannot find any mention of use with droplet transmission diseases.
Most of the literature I have read does not include droplet transmission communicable diseases, excepting instances where aerosols may develop.
Can anyone advise:
1. Do you have any quality evidence for the effectiveness of air purifiers with ‘droplet transmission’ illnesses, i.e. influenza, RSV, etc.?
2. If you are using air purifiers with droplet transmission communicable diseases?
I thank you in anticipation.
kind regards,
Catina
