AICA/ASID Clostridium difficile position paper released

Dear AICA members,
AICA has been working with ASID to produce an ASID/AICA Position Statement: Infection Control Guidelines for Patients with Clostridium difficile Infection in Healthcare Settings.

This paper was finalised in August 2010 and presented at the ACSQHC’s recent CDI workshop held in Sydney. The paper has been submitted to MJA and is inclusion in the NHMRC Infection Control Guidelines.

Rhonda Stuart, (ID Monash, Melbourne) was the lead author on this paper who succesfully managed to pull all our comments together. Thankyou to all members of AICA who contributed to the development of the position paper.
